Ok mensen,

Ik had van Wigley de vraag gekregen of we het niet zagen zitten om op de 16e ergens af te spreken met hen.

Eventueel voor het avondeten (16 september is nen vrijdag namelijk)

Ze rijden die dag van Francorchamps naar Seclin in Frankrijk.
Ze zouden dan eerst naar het hotel gaan en daarna ons ergens ontmoeten.
Ik heb hun daarvoor 2 mogelijke plaatsen gegeven die voor hen niet zo ver zijn : Doornik en Kortrijk.
Voor hen eender en misschien is Kortrijk voor ons handig?

Enkel nog een restaurant + parking zoeken, doch ik denk dat onze goede vriend Domingo mij hierbij wel zal helpen, niet ???
Moet niet specifiek in het centrum he... rond of net buiten is ook goed.
Of weet je iets dichter bij hen?

Als er geinteresseerden zijn, laat het hier gerust weten

Courtrai, Kortrijk will be fine with us.

We will aim to get to the hotel early afternoon, check in and then drive out to meet you for the evening. The only problem is that we will all be driving so no drinking

And how many persons are travelling in your group?

There will be 6 cars in our group (with 8 people)

If we leave Luxembourg early (and don't spend too long at Spa) I think we can get to Seclin for maybe 15:00. We could then check into the hotel and meet you in Kortrijk at around 16:00 or 17:00?

A tasty Flemish meal would be much appreciated

I find it most regrettable that we can't join you guys, but by the 16th of september we will be in southern France, probably on the Col de la Bonette .
But I'm sure there will be several MINIACS and MINI2.be members that will want to meet you.

Have a great time on the Col de la Bonette - supposedly the highest paved road in the Alps

have to work untill 16.30 and it's a 1u30 drive

Think between 18:00 and 19:00 would be fine Wigley.

Hi Wigley, Morty and hello guys.

I live about 15km. from Kortrijk, so I could join the party as well if you like.
I could even suggest you a nice restaurant, serving excellent, exquise and fine Belgian food. The place is called "Aubergine" and although located in the city centre, there's lots of parking opportunity (parking is located at the Broeltorens).
Also think we should avoid the market place, since there 's no more parking allowed there.

We made reservation at 19.00h in a restaurant in Rekkem for 15 persons.

It's just next to the church of Rekkem.

You take the exit 1 LAR on the E17 motorway( that's the first exit comming from France and the last in Belgium comming from Kortrijk).
Comming from France: take the exit 1, go to the left till the end (T junction); go to the left till the roundabout; first right (already Moeskroenstraat) , continue till you see on the righthand side the restaurant. Next to the church you'll find parking.
